Type of User Free at timer setting

Type of Frequency

Set the "Desired Average Frequency of Time" to your best estimate of how long you think you could do continuous time-intensive work such as eyestrain before you experience fatigue or pain symptoms.

Set the "Desired Average Frequency of Keystrokes" to your best estimate of how long you think you could do continuous typing-intensive work before you experience fatigue or pain symptoms.

Set the " Desired Average Frequency of Mouseclicks" to your best estimate of how long you can do continuous mouse clicking-intensive work before you experience fatigue or pain symptoms.

Set the "Desired Average Frequency of Mousemoves" to your best estimate of how long you think you could do continuous mouse moving-intensive work before you experience fatigue or pain symptoms.

As you adjust these 4 types of Frequency, notice that the "Average frequency of time, keystrokes, mouseclicks and mousemoves between breaks" display will adjust accordingly. These values reflect your average break, but actual frequency between breaks and actual length of breaks will be based on the kind of work you have been doing. If you spend a lot of time more intensive eyestrain work than typing and mousing on the computer on a particular day, breaks will occur in restriction based on Frequency of Time. If you spend a lot of time more intensive typing and mousing than eyestrain work on the computer, they will occur more frequently in restriction based on Frequency of Keystrokes, Mouseclicks and Mousemoves.

Type of Break Time

Set the "Desired Average Break Length of Break Time" as desired. Shorter breaks mean more frequent breaks, whereas longer breaks mean less frequent breaks. RSICover's model will reward more frequent breaks will slightly less overall time in breaks.

As you adjust this type of Break Time, notice that the "Average length of breaks" display will adjust accordingly. Actual length of breaks will be based on the kind of work you have been doing. Postponing breaks will generally lead to longer break length. Regular breaks will generally lead to adequate break length.
